so I just went to Carmax and had them appraise my 1995 300zx n/a with 142,000 miles. I was pleasantly surprised that they were willing to pay me $3000. With all the horror stories I hear about carmax giving you close to nothing, I was very happy to see that our cars still retain some value even if it is 15 years old. The employee helping me was even shocked that I was offered so much. I didn't sell it because I will still try to sell private for 4000. I just recently bought a 2003 BMW M3, and all i have to say is it's an awesome driving experience compared to my N/A. I definitly wasn't as excited to buy the car like I was when I bought the 300zx in 2001. Im grateful for this forum and its probably the most informative group of people I know. Im currently looking for a bimmer forum that is just as knowledgeable. So if anybody has any suggestions on which forums is the best let me know. I will still however be lurking on twinturbo just because I can't help it.
